Cabinet Painting Day - February 9

Sunday, a day to rest and reflect and be grateful.  And so we did!  We slept in, had time to read the whole Sunday paper and enjoy coffee, and then we did a few things to get ready to prime the cabinets, and prime 'em we did...

The real paint color is a little darker shade of grey than this (Ben Moore's "Grey Huskie" is the paint name), but I had the paint store tint the primer for me too.  I think it makes it easier when it is time to do the real paint. 

So now we wait until tomorrow when I can do a light sanding and do the first coat of the real paint...

Upper cabinets on the sink side?  Well, they're in the garage behind everything else, so I'll get to those eventually.  Work in progress, for sure!
